WS-Man Live!

Quick Start Guide
1) Drill down on the graphs to see history.
2) View the MRTG.CFG file for this site to see how this data is gathered using WS-Man (PowerShell Scripts) and SNMP. The specific scripts and SNMP OIDs are called out here.
3) Inspect and play with the WS-Man PowerShell scripts.

From Vista or Win7 you can ping (test) the WS-Man service on this computer with the following command: 'winrm id /a:none /r:wsman.msft.net:80'. Doesn't work? Click here.

Note: This site is merely an example of some instrumentation (WS-Man and SNMP) that can be collected from a Windows 2008 R2 server. Some of these metrics are also available on Windows 2003 and 2000.
